You are always too young to lose a spouse and it can lead to
even more despair
when you're at the age of 30, 40 or even 50.
The
Young Widowed Friends group is an outreach program
designed especially
for those who suffered a loss at a young age.
We are a mixed group from all
walks of life. Many of us still hold
down jobs and have young children at home
to care for. This
group was formed for those widowed men and women under
the
age
of 55.
Some of our members have come and gone; some have
stopped
in from time to
time, and many more continue to
meet every month. Others have
found new relationships and
moved
on. The bottom line is, "everyone is welcome".
If you are looking for a group that understands
your struggles
and hardships, you found the right place. We meet in a social
environment which encourages long-lasting friendships. We
support
one another
through love, listening and caring.
